Rajputana Automotive Sports Car Club in collaboration with Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan is organising the 27th edition of Jaipur Vintage and Classic Car Exhibition and Drive on 24 and 25 January at Taj Jai Mahal Palace in Jaipur. This was announced at the General Meeting of Rajputana Automotive Sports Car Club at Ashok Club. This year more than 100 vintage and classic cars will be showcased in the show, including cars as old as 100 years. The participating cars will be from the states of Rajasthan, Delhi, Gurgaon, Chandigarh and Mumbai. This was informed by the General Secretary of Rajputana Automotive Sports Car Club Jaipur, Avijit Singh Badnore.
Founder President of Rajputana Automotive Sports Car Club, Dayanidhi Kasliwal; Vice President, Sudhir Kasliwal; Sudhanshu Kasliwal, Hameed Ghani and Sudhir Mathur along with other members of the club were present on the occasion.
The event will include many unique vintage and classic cars like Ford Model T (1913), Austin Chummy (1923), Rolls Royce (1934), Cadillac (1958), Cadillac V16 (1931), Chevrolet Impala (1958), Packard Cavalier (1952) Imperial, etc. A large number of car lovers, car clubs and people interested in automobiles from all over the country will participate in this event.
The exhibition will be open on 24 January from 10 AM to 6 PM, followed by an exclusive driving experience on 25 January. It is to be noted that this event also serves as a source of inspiration and purpose, creating employment opportunities for veteran mechanics whose skills have been overshadowed by evolving technology and automation.
