First list of the 11th Rajasthan International Film Festival – RIFF 2025 Announced

A total of 28 films have been selected in the first list of Official Selection of RIFF 2025

* Short Animation Baahubali: Crown Of Blood, Produced by makers of Baahubali, S.S Rajamouli and Shobu Yarlagadda along with Sharad Devarajan, Jeevan J. Kang officially selected in RIFF 2025
* Feature film Hari Ka Om starring Raghubir Yadav, Anshuman Jha, Soni Razdan, Ayesha , Kapur and Directed by Harish Vyas and produced by Anshuman Jha will also have its Indian Premiere at RIFF 2025
National – 7th December 2024 : The 11th edition of the Rajasthan International Film Festival (RIFF), accredited by the Federation of Film Societies of India (FFSI) North Region, will be held from February 1 to 5, 2025 at INOX PVR, Ansal Royal Plaza & Mehrangarh Fort, Jodhpur. This year’s festival will feature the theme “CINEMASTHAN – A Panorama of Cinema in Rajasthan.” The event will also mark a decade of RIFF’s successful journey in promoting cinema in Rajasthan.

The first list of the 11th Rajasthan International Film Festival 2025 was released today where a total of 28 films have been officially selected in RIFF Competition Section, in which 14 films have been selected in the feature film category and 14 films have been selected in the non-feature film category. The Feature film category includes Malayalam Feature Film “Rotten Society” directed by Ss JishnuDev and produced by : Jinu Celine, Snehal Rao, Assamese Feature Film “Sikaar” directed by Debangkar Borgohain and produced by Sam Bhattacharjee, Mitra Bhattacharya, Punjabi Feature film “Jahankilla” directed by Vickey Kadam and produced by Satinder Kaur, French, English Tamil Feature film “Retour A Pondichéry” directed by  Dr. Raghunath Manet and produced by Raghunath Manet & Didier Bellocq, Kannada Feature Film “Sumaa The Flower” directed and produced by Rashmi S (Sai Rashmi), Rajasthani Feature Film “Aawakara” directed by Dinesh Rajpurohit and produced by Chandrashekhar Jangid & Dinesh Bishnoi, Rajasthani Feature Film “Choudharain” directed and produced by N S Gaur, Rajasthani Feature Film “Aata – 2” directed by  Hemant Seervi and produced by Hemant Seervi, Geeta Devi, Hindi-Punjabi feature film “Mitthu Singh Da Vyaah” directed by Sarvjit Singh and produced by : Sarabman Kaur, Hindi Feature film “ The Investigator” directed by  Kamil Shaikh and produced by Jane Naker, Kamil Shaikh, Hindi Feature Film “Hari Ka Om” directed by Harish Vyas and produced by First Ray Films / Anshuman Jha, Hindi Feature film “Purani Parichit” directed and produced by Sumel Brar, Hindi Feature film “Jaaiye Aap Kahan Jaayenge” directed by Nikhil Raj (Bhokal Singh) and produced by Hanwant Khatri and Kannada Feature Film “Tingl Belku (The Light For The Rest Of The Walk)” directed by Nareshkumar Hegde Dodmari and produced by BG Manjunath, Vinayaka Kodsara.

The Non Feature film category includes English, Hindi, Rajasthani Documentary Film “Main Thansu Dur Nahi – Legacy of Maharaja Hanwant Singh” directed by Abhimanyu Kanodia and produced by Mehrangarh Museum Trust, English, Hindi Short Film “The Chai Wala Guy” directed and produced by Vseant Nath, International Student Short Animation Film “Bush” directed by Elik Fromchenko and produced by : Elik Fromchenko and Itay Shlemberg, Hindi Short Film “Mukti – The Redemption” directed by Harsh Wardhan Pande and produced by Neetu Pande, Kannada Short Film “Bhramaayam” directed by Vishwas Madisetty and produced by : Narendra Kumar, International Short Film “The Book Revival” directed and produced  by Ashik Shaik, Silent Music / Sanskrit Short Animation Film “A Secret Playground” directed by  Basudev Nag and produced by Niloy Kanti Biswas, Hindi Short Animation “Baahubali: Crown Of Blood” directed by : Jeevan J. Mr. Somendra Harsh, Managing Trustee of the RIFF Film Club and Founder, CEO, and Festival Director of RIFF, shared, “The grand Opening Ceremony of Rajasthan International Film Festival – RIFF 2025 will be held on 1st February in Jodhpur at INOX PVR, Ansal Royal Plaza. After this, film screening, open forum, workshop and talk show will be organized in the next four days from 2nd to 5th February 2025 at  INOX PVR, Ansal Royal Plaza only. The grand event of RIFF Closing Ceremony and The RIFF Award Night 2025 will be held on February 5, 2025, at the Jaipol, Mehrangarh Fort & Chokelao Mahal Terrace in Jodhpur.

Entries are now open for the 11th edition of  Rajasthan International Film Festival (RIFF)  , inviting submissions across categories including Short Films, Documentaries, Animations, Feature Films, Regional Cinema, Rajasthani Films, and Music Video Albums. Filmmakers can submit their entries through the official website at www.riffjaipur.org or via www.FilmFreeway.com/riff2025 .  The final deadline for film submissions is December 31, 2024.
