STUDENTS OF RAFFLES UNIVERSITY TO GET AN OPPORTUNITY TO WORK WITH EMAAR GROUP

Jaipur, 18 April. The top 20 students of Raffles University in Neemrana and 5 students from the Alabbar School of Management will be selected annually and will be given the opportunity to work with the Emaar Group in Dubai, Europe and Asia. This announcement was made by the Founder of Emaar, Dubai, His Excellency Mohamed Alabbar. Present on the occasion was the Managing Director of Emaar Dubai, Al Matrioshi. It is to be noted that the Emaar Group is the largest real estate company in the world and houses more than 2 lakh employees.

On this occasion, Mohamed Alabbar was also honoured with a  Doctorate Degree (honoris causa) by the university. In his address, he expressed immense pride in receiving this honour from the university, sharing that he is the first among his 13 siblings to earn a university degree.

Mohamed Alabbar highlighted the importance of technology and critical thinking in the modern age of innovation and artificial intelligence. Sharing his life principles, he encouraged students to be courageous, think positively, spend time with talented and wise people, dream big and take steps to achieve those dreams. He also stressed the importance of continuous learning.

He further said that although his companies employ people from different nationalities, the best nationality to hire is Indians and said, “They are number one in the world. Their dedication, ability to learn, endurance and IQ are unmatched.”

It is especially significant that Mohamed Alabbar has spoken at length about the profound influence Mr Gomber had on his life. It would be meaningful to highlight that a global leader of his stature places his trust in Raffles University — a reflection of the strong foundation laid by its founder, and the inspiring manner in which Dr. Meena Gomber continues to carry that legacy forward.

It is to be noted that this occasion was also special for Raffles University because this project, envisioned by the Late Mr. Gomber as his dream initiative, is now being passionately led by Dr. Justice Meena V. Gomber. Through her dedicated mentorship, numerous students, like Surjit Singh, Ravindra Solanki, Jubair Bhati, Sumita Yadav and Rishabh Rathore have successfully joined the Rajasthan judiciary. Many other students are working in various state judiciaries like Delhi, UP and MP under a not-for-profit organisation committed to nurturing future leaders in the legal profession.
