The world-renowned Mayo College, Ajmer, is celebrating the completion of 150 years of its establishment with a series of events across the country. As part of these celebrations, the Mayo Alumni Association, Jaipur Chapter, will also organize celebratory events in Jaipur on 11 and 12 October. A review meeting regarding the Jaipur program was held at Ashok Club, chaired by Jaipur Chapter President, Jagdeep Singh.
On this occasion, Harish Bhargava, the convener for the Jaipur event, informed that during the two-day 150-year celebrations, a polo match, golf tournament, cricket match, football match and pickleball competitions will be organized. Alumni and members of the Alumni Associations from across the country will participate in these competitions. On the evening of 12 October, a grand gala dinner will also be hosted at Narain Niwas.
The Jaipur Chapter will invite former students of the school from across the country; members of all three schools run under the aegis of Mayo College Governing Board, as well as members from different chapters. For the alumni, this will not only be an opportunity to take part in sporting events but also a chance to reconnect with old friends, relive cherished memories, and once again celebrate the glorious history of their school.
During the meeting, Mayo Alumni Association Jaipur Chapter Secretary, Prithvi Singh and Treasurer, Shashank Kaurani were present. In addition, members including Vivek Bali, Richa Singh, Saloni Bhandari and Kavita Chauhan also attended the meeting.
