NIF Global Jaipur, Kamla Poddar Institutes students showcased their creative brilliance at the prestigious Global India Couture Week (GICW) in Mumbai on 19th September. The presentation featured seven distinctive collections, beginning with मेंRiwani, inspired by the timeless elegance of Bani Thani, followed by Sacred Currents that drew from the spiritual flow of the Ganga, and Seraphine, a celebration of the invisible yet powerful element of air. The showcase continued with Rangrez, translating the grandeur of Jaipur’s iconic Patrika Gate into contemporary fashion, and Chromatic Knots, a vibrant reinterpretation of Bandhej and tie-dye traditions. Adding a bold twist, the Graffiti collection brought the raw energy of street art into refined silhouettes, while Heritage in Motion blended ancestral craftsmanship with modern movement-friendly designs. Together, these collections reflected a seamless balance of tradition and modernity, reaffirming the institute’s commitment to nurturing innovation and providing students with global platforms to shine.
