In today’s time, Public Relations (PR) is no longer just about the exchange of information, but rather an art of storytelling that connects brands with people. Technology may continue to evolve, but the foundation of PR still rests on storytelling, relationships, and credibility. “Your network is your net worth,” said senior Media Management Professional, Mr. Jagdeep Singh while sharing his insights at the ‘Public Image’ Seminar organised by Rotary District 3056 at Hotel Clarks Amer, Jaipur. He delivered a presentation on the topic “Storytelling and New Trends in PR.”
In his session, Singh highlighted several key trends shaping modern PR, including AI, influencer marketing, user-generated content, digital-first PR, crisis management, and experiential PR. He emphasized that while the blend of technology and creativity is taking PR to new heights, the human touch remains irreplaceable. The seminar also included insightful sessions on topics like “Public Image – The Lifeline of Rotary” and “Branding & Social Media.” It is noteworthy that the seminar aimed to strengthen Rotary’s public image, effectively showcase service initiatives through media, and equip Rotary members with an understanding of evolving communication technologies.
