Annual Sports Day Celebrated at Jayshree Periwal High School

Jaipur, The students were transported to an exhilarating experience filled with diverse performances, captivating drills, and adrenaline-pumping races as Jayshree Periwal High School hosted its Annual Sports Day for both the Senior and Primary Wings on the school grounds. The event commenced on a pleasant, sunny morning with the arrival of the school Principal, Mrs. Madhu Maini. She was warmly welcomed and escorted by the School’s Sports Heads.

The Honoured Guest ceremonially lit the School torch, handed over to her with great respect by the Sports Council. Following this, the four school houses—Green, Blue, Red, and Yellow, took a solemn pledge of sportsman spirit, camaraderie and following of the rules. The events began with a lap of honour by those athletes – the champion of the champions, who etched their names on the hall of fame by winning International, National and State level competitions. They were honoured and congratulated by Madhu Maini Ma’am.  The synchronized march past by the Primary Wing’s young participants left the audience enthralled, offering a kaleidoscope of vibrant colors.  The releasing of the balloons in the sky symbolized the spirit of freedom and aspirations. Madhu Ma’am declared the Sports Day open amidst a loud cheering and clapping. In her address, she expressed her pride in the school’s achievements and asked the students to imbibe one sport in their lives and play it regularly. She told them to avoid junk food and say no to it firmly.

The day unfolded with a sequence of events that left the audience spellbound. The Primary Wing presented an awe inspiring demonstrations of Yoga, Taekwondo, Skating, and other skills captivating the parents and spectators alike.  A series of innovative and exciting races both by the Junior and the Senior Wings energized the crowd and drew loud cheers from the students for their respective Houses.

The excitement continued with athletic events for both junior and senior students. As the day progressed, the competitive spirit soared, culminating in the high-energy relay races for boys and girls across the Primary, Middle, and Senior sections.

The Sports Day concluded with the much-anticipated prize distribution ceremony, graced by the school’s Principal. She awarded individual and house trophies to the proud achievers, celebrating their hard work and dedication. The coveted individual championship trophies for the year 2025-26 were presented to The event was a grand success, leaving students, parents, and staff brimming with pride and enthusiasm for the school’s vibrant sporting culture.
