

Somendra Harsh and Sunny Kulshreshtha are the new Chairperson and Secretary respectively of the Jaipur Chapter , Oath Taking Ceremony was held for the newly Elected Members
Jaipur, 3 April : On the occasion of the 22nd Foundation Day of the Public Relations Council of India (PRCI), a grand event was organised on 3 April in Jaipur. The event marked the formal launch of the PRCI Jaipur Chapter along with the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected team. The programme was held on 3 April at the Mini Theatre, Constitution Club of Rajasthan. Additional Director Administration, DIPR, Government of Rajasthan, Dr. Gordhan Lal Sharma was present on the occasion as the Chief Guest. He said, “Communication is humanity’s greatest power—it is what sets us apart from all other living beings. At its core, Public Relations should strive to unite people, fostering understanding and meaningful connection.”
On the occasion, through a video message, Chairman Emeritus and Mentor PRCI, Mr. M.B. Jayaram said “I am delighted to see the Jaipur Chapter being revitalised with a dynamic and youthful team on the occasion of our National Foundation Day. It is truly encouraging to witness such fresh energy, and I am confident that this new leadership will introduce impactful programmes, achieve excellence, and position the chapter among the leading ones in the country.”
Further, National President of PRCI, Ms. Geetha Shankar extended greetings through a video message to all members and friends of the Jaipur Chapter. She said that it is a matter of great pleasure to note the launch of the Jaipur Chapter on 3 April, marking a significant milestone. She noted that the date also marks the Foundation Day of PRCI, she highlighted that the organisation proudly completes 22 years of its journey this year. She also extended her wishes to the new team and expressed confidence that the chapter will achieve great success under the new chairmanship. National Senior Vice President of PRCI, Mr. Avinash Gawai extended his greetings to the Jaipur Chapter. He described the initiative as a valuable voluntary contribution that will benefit students and PR professionals across Rajasthan, while also creating opportunities for PR professionals across India. The ceremonial inauguration included the traditional lamp lighting, followed by the playing of the PRCI Anthem, setting an inspiring tone for the occasion before the installation ceremony commenced.

The main highlight of the programme was that Mr. Somendra Harsh and Mr. Sunny Kulshreshtha, both newly elected President and Secretary of PRCI Jaipur Chapter, assumed office along with the entire newly elected team. PRCI, a pan-India communication exchange forum, provides a platform for professionals in public relations, media, and corporate communication, with an active presence in over 38 cities across the country. The Newly Elected Team includes Chairman, Somendra Harsh; Secretary, Sunny Kulshrestha; Treasurer, Pankaj Wadhwani; Vice Chairperson, Anshu Harsh; Mentor, Dr. Sanjeev Bhanawat and Dr. N.D. Mathur; Joint Secretary & YCC, Dr. Rahul Babu Kodali, and Director – National Executive, Dr. Jayati Sharma.

The event was attended by distinguished guests and members from public relations, media, digital communication, and corporate sectors. The launch of the PRCI Jaipur Chapter provided a new platform for communication professionals in the city and will open new avenues for collaboration, innovation, and growth.
