‘VOICE OF DOCTORS’ SEASON 2 TO BE HELD IN JAIPUR FROM 27 TO 29 SEPTEMBER

Jaipur, 25 September. The second season of the biggest global singing competition – ‘Voice of Doctors’ is going to be held in Jaipur from 27 to 29 September with the aim of providing a platform to the musical talent of doctors from all over the world and to promote the spirit of unity, creativity and stress relief among the medical community. More than 7,000 doctors from all over the world are participating in this singing competition. Many eminent personalities from the music world will also be a part of this programme. Indian playback singers – Padma Shri Kavita Krishnamurthy, Amit Kumar and Kunal Ganjawala will participate as special guests. This event will be held on 27 at Rajasthan International Centre (RIC) and on 28 September at Jaipur Engineering College and Research Centre (JECRC). The grand finale of this competition will be held on 29 September at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre (JECC) located in Sitapura. This programme of Jaipur Doctors Welfare Society is sponsored by Wonder Cement and JSW is the main partner of this event. This was informed by the Chairman of the Organising Committee, Voice of Doctors, Dr. Jitendra S Makkar during the press conference. Also present on the occasion were the Convener and Secretary of the Organising Committee, Voice of Doctors, Dr. Saurabh Jain and Music Mentor, Dr Gaurav Jain.

Dr. Jitendra S Makkar further said that the objective is to inspire doctors to recognise their passion for music, through which they can express themselves and get relief from stress. Playback singer and TV personality, Winner of Sa Re Ga Ma Mega Finale 1998, Mohammed Vakil; Doctorate in Music, Dr. Gaurav Jain and Rajasthan’s Nightingale, Seema Mishra will also be present at the event.

At the conference, Dr. Saurabh Jain informed that just like the first season, this prestigious event will be held both online and offline, exclusively on DocsCME App, a visionary platform for doctors by doctors. More than 1.50 Lakh doctors are already connected on the app.

He also informed that the competition is divided into three age groups – Under 40, 40-55 years and Above 55 years. The winner will be selected by a special jury from Bollywood. Auditions of the participants have already taken place. The Wild Card Offline Round and Pre-Finale Round will be held on 27 and 28 September at JECRC. 5 performers selected from each category by the jury will compete in the Grand Finale. At the end of the event, the winners and runners-up of each category will be awarded prizes and attractive gift hampers.

Dr Gaurav Jain said that after the first successful season of the Voice of Doctors, this second season is going to be bigger and better. This year, music mentors from the jury have been assigned to the participants, who are also giving the doctors online training and consultancy.
