Additions to the selection of the 79th Festival de Cannes

As announced during the press conference held on April 9, the films completing the Official Selection 2026 have now been revealed. In the Competition section, James Gray will present Paper Tiger. In Un Certain Regard, the selected titles include Victorian Psycho by Zachary Wigon, A Girl’s Story by Judith Godrèche, Titanic Ocean by Konstantina Kotzamani as a first feature film, and Ulysse by Laetitia Masson, which will close the Un Certain Regard section. Cannes Premiere will showcase The End of It by Maria Martinez Bayona as a first feature, alongside Mary Magdalene by Gessica Généus, Aqui by Tiago Guedes, Mariage au Goût d’Orange by Christophe Honoré, and Si Tu Penses Bien by Géraldine Nakache. In the Special Screenings category, audiences will discover Spring by Rostislav Kirpičenko, a first feature, Ashes by Diego Luna, Tangles by Leah Nelson, a first animated feature, Le Triangle d’Or by Hélène Rosselet-Ruiz, also a first feature, and the documentary Groundswell by Joshua Tickell and Rebecca Tickell. Finally, the Family Screening section will present Lucy Lost, a first animated feature directed by Olivier Clert.
