“Chitrahaar – Unfolding Towards the Self”: A Unique Art Exhibition by Sara Harsh on Her 18th Birthday

Jaipur, Art is not merely a world of colours and lines; it is one of the most beautiful forms of self-expression. Embracing this spirit, young artist Sara Harsh is celebrating her 18th birthday in a truly distinctive and meaningful way through her solo art exhibition, Chitrahaar – Unfolding Towards the Self. The exhibition will be held on June 23 and 24, 2026, at Surekha Art Gallery, Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur and will remain open to visitors daily from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM

The exhibition showcases a diverse collection of Sara’s creative works, including paintings, hand-painted bags and pouches, handmade flowers, and other artistic creations. What makes her journey particularly remarkable is that Sara has never received any formal training in art. Guided by her imagination, sensitivity, and keen observation of artists’ works through online platforms, she has independently shaped her artistic practice. Each artwork on display reflects her personal experiences, emotions, and creative evolution.

More than a display of artworks, Chitrahaar serves as a visual documentation of Sara’s artistic journey so far. Choosing to share her creations with the public on the occasion of her 18th birthday, she transforms a personal milestone into a celebration of creativity and self-discovery. It is difficult to imagine a more meaningful birthday tribute for someone deeply devoted to art.

The exhibition was inaugurated in the presence of several distinguished guests, including Padma Shri Tilak Gitai, Vedic painter Ramu Ramdev, Art educator Khushboo Khangarot (St. Xavier’s School), Social worker Sudhir Mathur, Kamla Poddar – Director of the Kamla Poddar Group, and Dr. Nirmala Sewani – Yagyacharya and spiritual scholar.

The title Chitrahaar symbolizes a journey of emotions, creativity, and self-exploration, through which a young artist expresses her inner world through colours and artistic forms. The exhibition stands as an inspiring example of youthful creativity, confidence, and dedication to artistic expression.

Sara Harsh has extended an invitation to art lovers, students, teachers, artists, and residents of Jaipur to visit the exhibition and become part of her creative journey.
