120+ Creators Launch RAMA Yatra 2026: Bridging Rajasthan’s Heritage with the Global Creative Economy

Jaipur, The Rising AVGC-XR & Media Association (RAMA Rajasthan) today officially kicked off RAMA Yatra 2026 with a vibrant heritage walk, uniting over 120 creators, students, and industry professionals. This initiative marks the beginning of a four-month mission to redefine Rajasthan’s creative landscape. Nitin Jain, National Convener, RAMA Rajasthan, stated, “We wanted people to experience Jaipur as a creator does—through its craft, food, and culture—to feel why our heritage is the raw material for the digital future”. The Yatra fundamentally promotes the creator economy as a viable career path, moving beyond traditional roles to embrace digital storytelling, gaming, and visual effects. By recognizing creators as entrepreneurs, the movement highlights how local talent can transform cultural assets into globally scalable intellectual property.
The event featured insights from industry veterans:

Somendra Harsh (Festival Director, RIFF) and Anurag Sharma (Director, MAAC Animation) participated actively, with Sharma noting, “Watching students shoot content at Jantar Mantar alongside professionals makes the AVGC-XR sector feel tangible rather than just aspirational”. Kamlesh Dal (Creator/Influencer) shared, “I came for the photo walk and left with five new collaborators. This community-driven approach is exactly what the creator economy in Jaipur needs to thrive”. Student Divyansh Kala added, “Sketching Hawa Mahal with other animators reminded me that our heritage is a foundation upon which we can build a modern career”.

The Yatra will span across districts including Jodhpur, Udaipur, and Kota, engaging over 15,000 stakeholders before culminating at the Rajasthan AVGC-XR Summit (RAS 2026) on 28-29 October 2026.
