PRCI Jaipur Chapter and Mody University Sign MoU

Students to Gain Industry Exposure, Internships and Professional Training Opportunities

Jaipur/Lakshmangarh: In a significant step towards strengthening collaboration between academia and industry, the Public Relations Council of India (PRCI), Jaipur Chapter and Mody University of Science & Technology, Lakshmangarh signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The partnership aims to provide students with practical training in Public Relations, Corporate Communication, Media, and Leadership while connecting them directly with industry professionals. The MoU signing ceremony was attended by senior representatives from both organizations. Representing Mody University were Dr. Vinod Purohit, Registrar; Prof. (Dr.) Ashutosh Bhardwaj, President; CA Sanjeev Agrawal, Vice President; and Dr. Rajeev Singh, PRO. Representing PRCI Jaipur Chapter were Mr. Somendra Harsh, Chairman; Ms. Anshu Harsh, Vice Chairperson; Mr. Sunny Kulshreshtha, Secretary; and Mr. Rahul Babu Kodali, Joint Secretary (MoU & Partnerships).

Under the MoU, both institutions will regularly organize expert lectures, corporate interaction sessions, media sessions, workshops, seminars, internships, live projects, leadership development programmes, professional networking events, and various skill development initiatives. These activities will enable students to gain first-hand exposure to industry practices, acquire practical experience, and develop career-oriented professional skills.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Vinod Purohit, Registrar of Mody University, said that the partnership would complement academic learning with practical industry exposure, providing students with a stronger foundation for personal growth and successful careers.

Mr. Somendra Harsh, Chairman of PRCI Jaipur Chapter, said that PRCI is committed to building meaningful collaboration between educational institutions and industry while nurturing the next generation of communication and public relations professionals. He described the MoU as an important milestone towards achieving this objective.

Mr. Sunny Kulshreshtha, Secretary of PRCI Jaipur Chapter, stated that both organizations would jointly conduct regular programmes that would provide students with opportunities for interaction with industry experts, hands-on training, media engagement, and professional networking.

Mr. Rahul Babu Kodali, Joint Secretary (MoU & Partnerships), said that the agreement would serve as an effective model of industry-academia collaboration and create new avenues of opportunity for students.

Both institutions also reaffirmed their commitment to working together on future initiatives focused on innovation, knowledge sharing, research, professional excellence, and social development, thereby contributing to the holistic growth of students.
