FTIR and IICT Forge Strategic Partnership to Strengthen Creative Technology Education in Rajasthan
Jaipur, The Film & Television Institute of Rajasthan (FTIR), Jaipur, and the Indian Institute of Creative Technologies (IICT), Mumbai, have entered into a strategic partnership to expand opportunities in GC-XR (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics and Extended Reality) education and creative technology in Rajasthan.
The partnership aims to promote specialized courses, certification programs, workshops, masterclasses, industry interaction, internships and career-oriented initiatives, connecting Rajasthan’s emerging creative talent with national and global opportunities in the rapidly evolving creative technology sector.
Following the signing of the agreement, Somendra Harsh, Founder & Director, FTIR, and Mr. Ashish Kulkarni, Founding Director, IICT, held a strategic meeting to discuss joint academic initiatives and develop a roadmap for collaboration.
Speaking on the occasion, Somendra Harsh said, “This partnership is an important step towards connecting Rajasthan’s creative talent with the rapidly evolving world of creative technology. Through Learn, Create, Collaborate and Lead, we aim to create new pathways for young people to build meaningful careers in the AVGC-XR ecosystem.”
The collaboration will also explore opportunities to connect Rajasthan’s rich cultural heritage and storytelling traditions with emerging creative technologies, further strengthening the state’s creative and media ecosystem.
